TOP10NL and GO Loader

The Kadaster introduced TOP10NL as the new, object-oriented topographical vector file to replace TOP10vector. The reason for the new format was to keep in line with new standards: TOP10NL is now able to support object orientation, unique identification, was-becomes detection, seamless database, temporal features, multiple geometry and links to other national databases. The decision to exchange TOP10NL files in GML was made based on the advantage that GML brings of supplying both the content and structure of the data.

Since TOP10NL is GML based, GO Loader can easily read the schema and load the data. Users now have access to an easy to use graphical interfaces that guides through all aspects of the database lifecycle.
