Snowflake Software continues to prove its 'future proof' capability and today announces additional support for the forthcoming OS MasterMap v6 release. GO Loader has always had the ability to adapt to new releases of OS MasterMap without any change or upgrade to the software. This capability means that the following OS MasterMap v6 schema enhancements are already supported in the current release:

• Non-geographic chunking
• GML summary files
• Non-bounded line flagging
• Additional Departed feature attributes

In addition, to support all new v6 functionality as well as the schema enhancements above, Snowflake Software is launching the GO Loader version 1.3 beta programme. GO Loader v1.3 includes a number of enhancements plus new functionality including a Feature Validation Data Set (FVDS) Tool and a 40% increase in Change Only Update processing speed.

GO Loader v1.3 also includes:

• Support for Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Improved integration with Oracle 10g and Oracle 10g flashback
• A new Tool API enabling external tools to connect to GO Loader
• Spatial index performance improvements
