Snowflake Software is pleased to announce two new training courses for its flagship product GO Loader. Delivered from its dedicated training facility at Eastgate House, Southampton these hands on courses are specifically designed to enable users to achieve maximum benefit from their GO Loader investment. New GO Loader users can gain a solid grounding of the product by attending the GO Loader Fundamentals course, whereas existing users can make use of the more advanced features of GO Loader by attending the GO Loader Advanced training course.

GO Loader Fundamentals

This 2 day hands on course is designed for GIS professionals, software engineers, DBAs and managers alike, to gain an understanding of the basic aspects of GO Loader functionality. On completion of the course, attendees will have gained a detailed knowledge of:

• GML, XML and OS MasterMap data
• Oracle setup for GO Loader
• GO Loader Architecture
• Use of GO Loader Projects
• Database modelling with GO Loader
• Loading OS MasterMap and GML into Oracle
• Connecting 3rd party GIS to Oracle
• Applying Change Only Update

GO Loader Advanced

This 2 day course is a hands on course for GIS professionals, software engineers and DBAs alike, to gain an understanding of the advanced aspects of GO Loader functionality. On completion of the course, attendees will have gained a detailed knowledge of:

• GO Loader Workflow & Architecture
• Physical database design
• Spatial partitioning for performance
• Maintaining history via Archiving
• GO Loader Tools and FVDS
• Using GO Loader Agent for batch scripting of Initial Load and Change Only Update
