Snowflake Software is pleased to announce that following the launch of the "GO Loader Guarantee" at last month's AGI show, three local government customers have already selected GO Loader for their OS MasterMap® projects. The GO Loader Guarantee is Snowflake's unique promise to get users up and running with OS MasterMap in Oracle, or your money back.
Following an evaluation of GO Loader, Southampton City Council was the first customer to take advantage of the no risk guarantee. Southampton CC will be taking advantage of GO Loader's 'open' architecture to connect multiple GIS packages to Oracle, namely Intergraph's GeoMedia, GeoMedia WebMap, ESRI's ArcView and MapInfo.
Colin Ames, Project Manager at Southampton CC said:
"We use a variety of GIS packages connected to our Corporate Oracle Spatial database and GO Loader has proved to be flexible enough to support the different requirements of them all."
All new customers for standard edition GO Loader will benefit from the Guarantee, for details see:

Ian Painter, MD of Snowflake Software said:
"We are delighted that new customers are already taking up the Guarantee. Clearly customers share our confidence to get up and running not just quickly, but also with maximum flexibility for incorporating new user requirements, new data and new GIS tools when the need arises.
We are particularly pleased that our local Council in Southampton has decided to work with us as a local company."

Further Expansion at Snowflake
Justine Moore has recently joined Snowflake as Pre & Post Sales Technical Consultant, responsible for supporting customers during evaluations and live projects. Formerly with the OS, where Justine worked on a number of projects relating to OS MasterMap, Snowflake has been able to put this experience to good use already. Justine commented:
"My new role at Snowflake has already been challenging and rewarding. I am linking my GIS and MasterMap background with mainstream IT to deliver projects and solutions for our customers - and since there have been many new customers since I joined, I have certainly been kept busy!"
