Snowflake appoints new Director

Snowflake Software has appointed new Director, Simon Perry. Simon has 14 years experience in the IT industry, as a software engineer and consultant. In his role at Snowflake, Simon will use his wealth of Enterprise Java and geospatial experience to provide direction on a number of forthcoming Java based products. New Director Simon Perry explains his decision to join Snowflake Software:
"I am really impressed by the rapid achievements of Snowflake, as well as the innovation and drive behind the company. Snowflake has some great products and ideas in the pipeline and this is a fantastic opportunity to help contribute to their future growth and success."
Simon has been an independent IT contractor, developing Enterprise Java web solutions for major companies, including IBM and Legal & General. Prior to that he was a Senior System Developer and an International Consultant at Ordnance Survey in Southampton. Fellow Director Eddie Curtis says:
"Simon's experience of Enterprise Java together with his strong geospatial background make him an ideal addition to our team. His unique combination of skills provides us with invaluable insight and experience to contribute greatly to our future product direction."
