Visitors to the Government Computing event held last week in London were impressed when Snowflake Software demonstrated OS MasterMap™ data being modelled and loaded into an Oracle database in just 3 minutes. This process normally takes weeks of expensive development time, but conference delegates saw this reduced to a few mouse clicks as GO Loader's graphical tools were used to define a data model, create the database, and load GML data into the new database ready to be displayed and edited using off the shelf GIS tools.

Snowflake demonstrated GO Loader alongside Radius Topology from partners Laser-Scan. Radius Topology is an advanced spatial processing environment that extends the standard Oracle9i database and provides dramatic improvements to the speed and quality of spatial data manipulation.
