GO Loader supports the new OS MasterMap Address Layer

On the same day that Ordnance Survey announces the new OS MasterMap Address Layer, Snowflake Software annouces support for the new layer within its innovative GML tool for Oracle - GO Loader.

Through the unique XML Schema parsing technology only available in GO Loader, GO Loader is able to read any GML2 compliant data without prior knowledge of the format. Therefore, GO Loader not only supports the new Address Layer, it also provides built in support for any forthcoming OS MasterMap layers delivered in GML2 format. Furthermore, to support a new format there is no need for software change or the creation of often complex lookup files-all users need to do is point GO Loader at the accompanying XML Schema files and within the next three minutes they can be up and running with any GIS capable of connecting to Oracle.

Eddie Curtis, CTO of Snowflake Software says

"Our XML Schema parsing technology is unique to GO Loader. Using this technology we were able to support the new OS MasterMap Address layer as soon as we recieved the sample data from Ordnance Survey. Using GO Loader our customers are able to work with any new GML format from the day of its release. As a result, gone are the days where customers are required to wait for software vendors to support a new format."
